Professional & Personal Background
My specialty is treating substance abuse disorders. I have spent a large portion of my career in the field of substance abuse and recovery and have personal experience in this field. I have worked in a variety of in-patient and out-patient centers including MAT, transitional treatment, and sober living homes. I have also worked in recovery coaching and as a recovery coach supervisor. My career highlight, however, was when I traveled across the US giving speeches and assisting corporations in creating programming to help individuals in recovery.
I was born and raised in Forest County. After graduating high school I lived in different areas of Wisconsin and Illinois. I attended college and worked at a variety of places. After attending a recovery program, I enrolled in Nicolet Technical College and received my degree in Substance Use Disorder Counseling. I am an enrolled member of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe and am married with three beautiful boys. My family loves outdoors activities, including four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and boating.
