 Professional & Personal Background

Dr. Novak was a student with the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine in Marshfield, Wis., and received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wis. She completed her residency at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital in Burlington, Vt. After residency, Dr. Novak worked for Marshfield Clinic in Minocqua before transitioning to FCP. She enjoys working with patients and families, monitoring growth and development from the newborn phase through young adulthood . Her goal is to meet patients and families where they are at and help give children the tools to live healthy lives.

Dr. Novak grew up in Antigo, Wis., and has only briefly lived outside of the state for residency in Vermont for 3 years. She is happy to be back so close to her hometown. She enjoys running, hiking, reading novels, and spending time with her husband, two daughters and their extended family.
