 Professional & Personal Background

Over the past 10 years I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, such as a group home for adults experiencing SPMI (severe & persistent mental illness), a crisis call center, an inpatient hospitalization unit, and a community mental health clinic. I hold a master’s degree in Art Therapy/Counseling and offer clients the ability to make art in their counseling sessions for increased emotional regulation and self-expression. For clients experiencing trauma symptoms, I have completed basic EMDR training which allows me to offer EMDR as a treatment intervention.

In my free time I renovate a small family cottage, which includes landscaping the yard. I hope to establish gardens and raise chickens, ducks, or rabbits. I love to read, journal, take my two cats on walks around the yard, and create detailed collages and meaningful jewelery.
