Professional & Personal Background
Lisa first earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from UW-Oshkosh in 1996. She then went back to school 17 years later to pursue her pharmacy career. Her first pharmacy job was with ShopKo Pharmacy in Abbotsford, WI. Lisa then transitioned to pet pharmacy by taking a job with Drs. Foster and Smith Pet Pharmacy in Rhinelander, WI. She spent 4 years there helping pet parents take excellent care of their furry friends. The pharmacy business was sold and Lisa went on to join Walmart Pharmacy in Medford, WI. She worked there for 3 years before joining the FCP family last July.
Lisa’s mother inspired her to go back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a pharmacist. While Lisa was earning her business degree, her Mom attended the same university to get a degree in teaching. They graduated together in May 1996. Lisa’s Mom had Type 1 diabetes from age 8 and many other health issues which sparked Lisa’s interest in medicine. Lisa was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes 25 years ago and is passionate about helping others who are newly diagnosed or long time diabetics like herself. She loves being able to interact with patients and help them meet their health goals.
