FCP HWC is home to the only Optometry Providers and Optical Dispensary in Forest County. Our highly-trained Optical Department staff provides top-notch direct, comprehensive care to our patients. We offer the best in lens options including high-index and Trivex lens materials, progressive addition lenses, Transitions Lenses which automatically adapt to lighting conditions, and anti-glare lens coatings. Plus, we have a wide variety of frequently updated frames to suit any patient’s style and budget.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic:

  • All patients must have a scheduled appointment to visit the Optical Retail Shop.
  • Upon arrival, all visitors will be:
    • Assessed for COVID-19 symptoms and will have a temperature check.
    • Instructed to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering while in the facility.

  • Routine eye exams are recommended every 1-2 years even if you have no concerns.
  • Anti-reflective coating is an add-on that can be put onto any lens material to help reduce the amount of glare from computer screens, night driving, etc.
  • Patients can be seen at our facility for both the contact lens fitting with the provider and the application/removal training with the technician. Follow-up appointments are provided to help ensure we find the best contact lens fit for you.
  • There are several factors in determining if you are a candidate for LASIK surgery. This includes glasses prescription and corneal thickness, just to name a few. Make an appointment today to determine if you are a good candidate.
